1. Marysville Historic District

Originally founded in 1819, Marysville is steeped in tradition and enjoys a rich history. Their county courthouse, originally built in 1883, is still in use today. The Weller Cabin is also a perfect example of Marysville's commitment to historic preservation. It was one of the first buildings built in Marysville and one of the few remaining log cabins in the community. It was restored in the 1970s and donated to the Union County Historical Society in 2006. There are many things to learn about the history of Marysville, and the Historic District is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful buildings and historical sites.

2. Local Farmers Market

Marysville hosts the Union County Farmers Market offering an enticing array of seasonal fresh produce, baked goods, cut flowers, honey, and craft items including homemade soaps! Running from mid-May until early October, the Union County Farmers Market takes place every Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11:30 AM at Partners Park.

6. Darby Creek Golf Course

With a 4-star rating from Golf Digest, Darby Creek Golf Course is perfect for the golfer in the family! Darby Creek offers two different 9-hole layouts. "The Links" of front nine captures the appearance of a windswept Scottish links course, complete with natural grasses and sand bunkers. "The Woods" of the back nine captures the more traditional American layout, with treelined fairways and greens that include lakes and sand bunkers. 7. The Avalon Theatre

Opening in August 1936, The Avalon Theatre quickly became one of Ohio's premier theaters, with the goal of returning strong cultural arts back to Union County. 8. Dalton Union Winery & Brewery

Ready for some wine tasting? Head on over to the 2023 CBUS Top Picks - Favorite Brewpub/Brewery in Columbus area winner, Dalton Union Winery, just five miles outside of Marysville. They are one of four wineries in Union County, along with others that are within 20-30 minutes away, which is a great way to make a day out of your wine tasting experience!
