The 2021 Indianapolis Home Show is back for its centennial anniversary, and Fischer Homes returns to lead the builder team for the Centerpiece Home.
Fischer Homes will unveil the Leland floorplan, part of its Masterpiece Collection, with a Modern Farmhouse elevation as the Centerpiece Home, which is built entirely inside Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. This two-story, 3,376-square-foot home includes four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a three-car garage and the option of a finished lower level. It also offers a two-story family room with shiplap fireplace, spacious hearth room with fireplace, gourmet island kitchen with butler’s pantry, private owner’s suite on the first floor and a flexible loft space.
“Fischer Homes is thrilled to be back at the Indianapolis Home Show,” said Market President Indianapolis Division Brad Kriner. “This year's home will be our ninth Centerpiece Home, and we look forward to highlighting everything new we have at Fischer Homes — new designs, new communities and a growing and exceptional team.”
The mother-daughter trio from TOB Design Firm — Joy Perkins, Macara Carsley and Danielle Harris — is also back this year, bringing their unique flair to the Centerpiece Home interior. The aesthetic for the Leland is “modern haven.”
“We believe the details make the design, and the Leland home is dressed head to toe for the party,” Carsley said. “The furnishings command high-contrast movement fused by woven linens, sultry velvets and cozy performance fabrics. By presenting textural comfort to the home, it allows for the ease of everyday life with a dash of finesse.”
Midwest Landscape Industries will create and customize the landscaping for the Centerpiece Home, designing and building both the hardscape and landscape elements.
“We have some exciting features for Home Show visitors at the Centerpiece Home, including a linear fire feature and putting green,” said Midwest Landscape Industries Design Build Manager Bryce Kruger. “Plus, there will be a pergola and outdoor kitchen along with special water features.”
“This is an extra special year as the Indianapolis Home Show returns to the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center for its 100th year,” said Home Show Manager Laura Groninger. “I’m so excited for Home Show visitors to check out what we’ve got planned — from vendors to home-focused experts and thousands of products to explore. Plus, the Centerpiece Home is always a main highlight of the show, and it’s going to ‘wow’ everyone who sees it.”
The 2022 Indianapolis Home Show opens Friday, Jan. 21, and continues through Sunday, Jan. 30. Admission is $15 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 to 12. Deals: $2 off tickets purchased online and free admission for children 5 and younger.
