Last week, Fischer Homes celebrated two major milestones in their partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Fischer Homes completed its 16th St. Jude Dream Home campaign in the Cincinnati market by presenting a check to St. Jude for $1,050,000. The Cincinnati St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway winner was announced on Friday, June 18, on FOX19NOW/WXIX. Paul Fry of Batavia, Ohio, won the home located in Pierce Township valued at $500,000.
With the recent acquisition of Payne Family Homes, the company is building its eighth St. Jude Dream Home in St. Louis, Missouri. The St. Louis St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway drawing will take place on Thursday, August 19th, with a live drawing on FOX2NOW/KTVI. The home is located in the Dardenne Prairie community and is valued at $600,000.
Just two days after the Cincinnati St. Jude home was awarded, the St. Louis home sold out of tickets.
Both campaigns set record ticket sales marks - Cincinnati sold all 10,500 tickets in three weeks, and St. Louis sold all 14,000 tickets in nine days. Together the company raised over $2.4 million in 2021 and over $22 million in total across all campaigns for ALSAC - the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All proceeds go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping to make sure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
“We are so pleased that even after a year of uncertainty, our Cincinnati team came together to support this lifesaving cause,” said Brian Johnson, Market President, Cincinnati Division, for Fischer Homes.
Ken Kruse, Market President for Fischer Homes in St. Louis remarked, “Fischer Homes could not have done this without the support of our incredible trade partners and vendors here in St. Louis. Together our fight against childhood cancer continues."
